IBPS RRB XV Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be a citizen of India. For the post of Office Assistant, the age limit is 18 to 28 years; the candidate’s date of birth must fall between September 2, 1998, and September 1, 2008. For Officer Scale I, the age limit is 18 to 30 years; for Officer Scale II, it is 21 to 32 years; and for Officer Scale III, it is 21 to 40 years. These maximum age limits apply to General and EWS candidates.
There is also a relaxation in the age limit of reserved categories, such as 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC non-creamy layer, and 10 years for PwBD.

For Officer Scale-I, preference will be given to candidates holding a degree in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, animal husbandry, veterinary science, agricultural engineering, fisheries, information technology, management, law, economics, or accountancy.
Two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution is required. Preliminary Examination (Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I): This comprises Reasoning (40 questions, 40 marks, 25 minutes) and Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions, 40 marks, 20 minutes)—totaling 80 questions, 80 marks, and a duration of 45 minutes.
