Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed 10th class from any recognized school of any state with passing marks in Mathematics and English.
- The candidate must have studied the local language of the concerned state up to 10th standard. Post wise local language details are given in Annexture-III.
- Some special provisions related to local language apply in Arunachal Pradesh, Goa and Sikkim.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of system generated merit list only.
- The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in class 10th.
- For Grade/Point based candidates, subject wise marks will be calculated by applying a multiplication factor of 9.5.
- Wherever Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is given, marks will be calculated by multiplying the CGPA by 9.5.
- In case of tie in marks between candidates, priority will be decided as per: DOB (elder in age), followed by category order: ST Trans-Women, ST Women, SC Trans-Women, SC Women, OBC Trans-Women, OBC Women, EWS Trans-Women, EWS Women, UR Trans-Women, UR Women, etc.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through SMS on their phone and email.
- Physical verification of documents will be done by the Divisional/Unit Head of the Division/Unit where the post is notified.
- After successful verification, ‘Offer for Provisional Engagement’ will be generated immediately from the system.
- Candidates are required to complete pre-engagement formalities within 30 days from the date of offer of provisional engagement, which includes 3 days of prescribed basic training and accommodation arrangement (for BPM posts).
- The final order of engagement will be issued after receiving the verification report from the issuing authority and the previous report from the police authority.

- Applications will not be accepted through any other mode.
- The application process has two steps: one-time registration and online application.
- Applicant must have his/her email ID and mobile number.
- Once registered, the mobile number and email address cannot be used again for any other person.
- Before registering, keep these things ready like mobile number (which will be verified through OTP) and email ID (verified through OTP) and details of your 10th marksheet like year of passing.
- After completion of registration, the registration number will be sent to your mobile number and email address through SMS.
- Enter all your details in the online application such as personal details, educational details, division selection and post preference.
- Upload your recent and clear photograph (JPG/JPEG format, 30 KB to 100 KB, 320×400 pixels recommended) and signature (JPG/JPEG format, 20 KB to 100 KB, 300×120 pixels recommended).
- Please check the preview of the application before submitting it.
- Make sure to pay the fees before final submission, otherwise the form may be cancelled.
- Candidate can apply for one or more posts in the selected division only.
